Dental Insurance Plans
Desert Foothills Dental accepts all PPO dental insurance, and we are happy to file your claim on your behalf. We also accept health funds, including FSA and HSA.
Some of the insurances we work with are Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental (all states), Guardian, Humana, MetLife, Principal, and United Healthcare. We currently do not accept any DMO / HMO plans regardless of the insurance company.

Diagnostics and X-rays Covered at 100%
- Comprehensive dental exam (new patient)
- Routine dental exams (2 per year)
- Emergency exams (unlimited)
- All routine x-rays (periapical, bitewing, panoramic) for exams above
Preventive Dentistry Covered at 100%
- Fluoride treatment (2 per year)
- Child cleaning (2 per year)
- Adult cleaning or periodontal maintenance (2 per year)
15% Discounts on Other Procedures
- Additional cleanings
- Fillings and tooth buildups
- Gum disease treatment
- Dentures and partials
- Oral surgery and implants
- Root canals

Payment Options
Desert Foothills Dental accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also work with CareCredit, a third-party financing that helps you get the dental treatment you need when you need it. Once you're approved for CareCredit, you can use it for dental, vision, hearing, and dermatology expenses, as well as wellness and beauty treatments.
For the vast majority of dental procedures, we need to take a look at what you need a quote for before stating a dollar amount. For example, with a crown, several factors determine the price including but not limited to:
- Does the tooth need a root canal?
- Does the tooth need a build-up?
- What kind of material needs to be used for the crown?
- Does the patient clench or grind their teeth?
- Is the tooth supported by healthy teeth and gums?
- Does the tooth need custom color matching?
That being said, we CAN quote prices for things such as exams and some basic procedures over the phone.
